architecture realtime animation study

In this very initial test we put our hands on the Unreal Engine 4 for the first time to find out what could be the benefits for us in our work – indeed we are pretty amazed of how the shading workflow in the Unreal Engine works, which is pretty close to what we know from the offline rendering software we normally use. As this were the very baby steps we did with the real-time software of course the animation might look a bit rudimentary – but be aware that rendering times in this example are reduced to a minimum – and post effects like glow, depth of field and color grading are done right inside the engine!

This little project encouraged us to dive deeper into the field – the possibilities were just too promising!
